Part 6

Dragons Breath
3/7/01

Upon the dragon's breath
Uther did ride.
Across the breach to
yon castles gate he did go.
To bed the Dukes wife was his cause.
Destroy the kingdom it did do.
A son, Erin did bear the King,
Arthur was to be his name.
Merlin did appear and as he spoke,
Uther took from Erin the child Arthur.
Merlin, wise and powerful sorcerer,
took from Uther, the young King.
Soon Uther did fight his last battle,
and into stone he did cast his sword,
Excalibur.

Thou
3/15/01

Thou art the Lady that
comes to me in my dreams.
Thy voice haunts me every
night in my dreams.
Oh dearest Lady, thou art all
that this poor man
doth desire in life.
What be this strangeness
that pulls at my heart..?
Least be known I have not gone.
To other worldy pleasures I know not.
For 'tis all consuming
that which I feel for thee.
Verily I say unto thee Dear Lady
that none hath made
me feel as thou hast.
Passion's fire consumes my flesh.
I close mine eyes and
thou art there always.
Oh God! What hast Thou
done to Thy servant?
I would rather the fires of
hell consume me than go another day
Whilst this feeling that is in
mine heart can'st not be controlled.
Would'st not the ever burning
fires of Hell be better?
Aye I say unto thee that this would'st
be better than what I now endure!
Speak to me Dear Lady!
Tell me what I must do to
lessen the fire that consumes my heart.
I pray that thou would'st
but show thy Knight the way.
Enlighten thy Knight so that
he may be a better Knight for thee.

Humbled
3/28/01

To an Irish Lass....

As I kneel afore thee,
I am humbled by thy beauty and graciousness.
Never before has this Knight
Seen such a beauty as thee.
When thou blush, the roses pale
In thy presence.
I fear to allow my gaze to linger long,
Least I be blinded by thy radiant beauty.
Aye, How thy beauty and graciousness
do humble me when I be near to thee.
The stars in the night sky pale
When they see thee standing there.
Standing on castle wall, thy
Beauty shines like a golden light in the night.
M'Lady, thy Knight kneels at thy feet
In utter humbleness.

The Joust
4/4/01

In yon forest clearing,
Two Knights sit tall upon
Their chargers.
One is dressed in shining bright
Armor upon a pure white charger.
The other all in black armor
Upon a jet black charger.
Each at opposite ends.
Preparing for the joust.
Lances ready, points sharpened.
Shields held tightly at their sides.
Lances leveled, pointing the way.
Chargers gallop towards the other.
Lances glancing off of shields.
Knights tumble to the ground from the blow.
Slowly to rise, to do battle
With sword and mace.
Striking one another with heavy blows.
Till one falls to the ground
And yields to the other.
But who is the victor and
Who is the vanquished.
Well, that be another tale to tell.

He Gives
4/10/01

With the return of thy Knight,
Comfort is at hand.
He serves and protects only thou.
He gives to thee what others cannot.
He gives that which only he can give to thou.
This Knight, he be steadfast and Honor bound.
Only thee do matter to this gentle Knight.
Of the many battles and adventures,
Much he could tell to thou.
Of the sadness that fills his heart
When he must depart.
Of the many long journeys and of time
Spent away from thou, much could he tell.
All this my love, makes my return to thee
That much more full of passion.
I give to thee all that I have to give.
My love, my caring, my
kindness, and my tenderness.
But most of all I give to thou My Heart.

Over the Hills
4/20/01

Traveling onward over the hills
And through the dells.
This Knight does travel.
Though he knows not where he goes,
he goes anyway.
Searching here and there, everywhere.
Searching for what he knows not.
There goes on again in futile wandering,
search for what he knows not.
Of the futility of it all,
this Knight does continue on.
Not knowing what is within
is what he searches for.
Brown robed Friar tells
that it is within,
But this Knight sees it not.
While still traveling over the
hills and through the dells.

Non-Titled
7/18/01

Brave lonely Knight,
thou art such a fool.
On battlefields of honor
fight duty bound.
Aligance given one that
knoweth not other.
Upon chargers back,
Lance held steady charges.
To carry on through out
the day for a love that cries not.
Vainly you go to this ladies aide
For bound to honor thou art.
Disgrace yourself not
For thou art a true Knight.
For thus and only thus do thee
Enter upon this field of honor.

Dear Lady
7/24/01

Thy presence reafirms that which
Has been in thy Knight's heart.
A love without end, timeless, inspiring.
Thou my heart has long been as a desert,
Lifeless, cold, dead.
Thy words that thou did speak
are unto an oasis in the desert.
Thy words have brought life back to
an other wise dead heart, warmed it.
Thy smile, how it does cause thy face to glow.
Thy hair, as red as the sunset
That graces the sky at days end.
To stand next to thou on lofty mountain peak
And hold thee while watching the day come to an end.
To tell thou of thy Knight's new found life.
Of the Love that he has carried in his heart for thou
For these many years.
Now thy Knight has found new reason,
new reason to pursue life anew.
Without thou, thy Knight didst hath no reason
No cause to go on.
All was lost without thou..

So Consumed
10/12/01

As the Lady Imbrium sits in yon garden,
Her Knight, Sir Lonely, kneels at her feet.
He asks of the Lady Imbrium her hand.
He doth swear to her of his unending love.

Dear Knight, I know not what to say.
Thou hath charged into my life
and hath taken my heart.

My Lady, my heart be so consumed
with love for thee that it did
so command me to ask thou for thy hand.

I fear M'Lady, that my heart wouldst explode
if my love for thee was not true.

I didst ask the Duke of this matter.
His reply My Lady was thus.
"In matters of the heart Sir Lonely
I cannot answer. Your answer must come
from the Lady Imbrium, of whom thou
hast confessed to me, that thou loves so dearly.
In this matter, My blessings do I give to thee
and the Lady Imbrium."
